This set is so fun.  I decided to use My Mind's Eye Bluebell dp with this set.  The card base is starfruit.  I punched the inchies and then used a 1 1/4" square punch to layer with.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the bird and he's on a dimensional. The ribbon matches perfectly...but in this photo, it doesn't look like it!

I made this card for Tutorial Time on Speedy TV challenge #17. Our fabulous  design team member Kathy Bradley has brought us the flap card.  I really enjoyed doing this.  I used dusty durango as my card base and some Martha Stewart dp and white and black cardstock. Instead of a magnet (because I didn't have any), I used a button...Now that I look at the photo, it's hard to see.  Head on over to MFP's Speedy TV to play along.
My last card here was made to showcase the mini set available right now called Vroom.  My little witchy slides back and forth.
Thanks for checking everything out!

Can I just say....LUV this set.  I took a piece of Bo Bunny Timepiece Collection dp and made my card around it.  It was super simple but I think it looks detailed.  I stamped the leaves with the acorn in burnt umber around the top right corner and colored in with crumb cake, starfruit, soft suede and reallly rust.  Added a bit of distressing around edges with pumpkin pie.  The sentiment was stamped and put on dimensionals.....as I did an oops trying to stamp the sentiment originally:)  The fabulous lace from MFP's a HC was dyed with starfruit and a gold acorn...also from MFP's a HC was put on with a piece of gold twine...all products from MFP's a HC.  Forgot to say, the base of the card is flecked dirt and I think it is a new favorite paper-again from MFP's a HC!
This is the 5th set for the fun!  Super fun.

DRS Designs Challenge #44-Pumpkins

I made this fun card for DRS Designs challenge #44-pumpkins.  I stamped, fussy cut and painted the pumpkin with pearlescent watercolors.  I had this embossed leaf background done with white core paper laying in my scraps pile and thought it went nicely.  I stamped the happy thoughts greeting and sponged with dusty durango...a bit of ribbon and done!

Have a great day and participate!!!!!

Hi all and ahoy maties! I wonder how many of us designers are saying that???  Humm?
I had so much fun making this card and it is cuter IRL!  I stamped the map onto Basic White dp from BG, ripped it and distressed with burnt umber. The parrot was stamped in black, colored and fussy cut out and is on dimensionals.  The colorful piece of dp is from BG's Out of Print which I also distressed.  Added cameo coral underneath and a white card base.  A giant grommet, some think rope twine with knots and we are golden!  Hope on over to Debbie's blog next for a pirate-e good time!

It is time for scarecrows!

Happy Fall Ya'll!  My favorite time of year!
I chose this fun large scarecrow image paired with the Scarecrows and corn rows greeting and argyle background from DRS Designs. I fussy cut my scarecrow and colored him with baja breeze, river rock, more mustard, only orange and really rust.  A bit of pink was added to his cheeks. The argyle bg was done in really rust.  My last piece of burlap I added to the corner (boohoo...so much you can do with burlap!), a button and some embroidery thread for the tassel and on the buttons.

Have a great day and enjoy some fall weather!

Lavender birthday TTSTV#16

Yeah and yippee skippy, it's Friday!  Our 16th tutorial was done by Davi Reid over on MFP Speedy TV....go check it out! It will be under tutorial time challenges.  I chose to use lavender for my plant material and I am so happy that I did.  It smells divine!  I hope the smell stays for the recipient:)  Interesting how the lavender turned hazelnut tan!  So I used that as my card base and for the sentiment which is a sneak from the set to be released from MFP's a HC next week-Buried Treasure.  The dps are from Prima's Moulin Rouge and My Mind's Eye Lost and Found.  Some not quite navy ribbon, brads and some embosslit butterflies to finish it off.  I sponged some brocade blue around edges as I thought the purple from the lavender looked more brocade blue than lavender!

Happy Thoughts

I made this card using DRS Designs stamps today....another fave of mine-the vertical triple tree which I stamped in craft white and then embossed in white.  The one line sending you happy thoughts greeting was stamped in white.

DRS Designs Thursday challenge-Sunflowers

Good day all!  My card today was made for the sketch challenge on SCS-SC402 and for our challenge over on the DRS Designs blog-Sunflowers.  I stamped my autumn flower spray in black and used pearlescent watercolors to paint them.  I sponged the edges with island indigo and then did the cracked glass technique and sponged black into the cracks.  The vintage wallpaper ef was used and some fun ribbon and a couple of brads to finish it off.  I couldn't decided on a sentiment so I didn't use one!

Autumn warm wishes

Happy Saturday!!!!  I am a day off because of the holiday and I had been in Kansas last weekend to see my dd play college soccer.  Weird feeling to be a day off! I am posting a fall creation for DRS Designs today and decided to use the beautiful Autumn Wreath which I stamped in noir black and colored with crushed curry, razzleberry, rose red and there you have it!  I fussy cut it out and then the center was done with an exacto knife.....which I am NOT good at.  My greeting warm wishes is so versatile! The frame was made to somewhat look like a door/window.  I used sticky note and a sponge.  The wreath is on dimensionals and a bit of ribbon was added!
Take care,
Pam

DRS Thursday challenge: jungle animals

I went for some colors I wouldn't normally put together as I was feeling bright and silly.  I stamped the image in black and cut the top part out.  I colored with green, orange, saffron, crumb cake, pink, cameo coral.  I stamped Vickie's versatile bg on the gumball green layer but it is hard to see.  The lattice ef used.  A couple brads, a ribbon and a little twine tie around the giraffe.
Stamps used: Vicki's versatile bg, From all of us greeting, jungle animal friends.
Head on over to the DRS Blog to play and your chance to win!
