TTSTV 67-Bleaching, High-lighting and low lighting

Admittedly, I had a hard time with this. Bleach and I don't seem to get along. With that said, I do like this particular finished project.  For directions and better looking samples, head over to TTSTV here.

TTSTV 66-dimensional shoe and some more creations!

My first creation was made for tutorial time's challenge this week. A dimensional shoe. I love how it came out. You can check it out here.

This card was made getting inspiration from the Get Inspired Column which can be found here on MFPspeedytv...also, made for the IC406 on SCS which was Williams Sonoma today.

Lastly, I created some tags for my Christmas presents this year using the extra set now available at MFP's....Holiday Tags.

MariLynn and I decided as one of our projects for this hop, we'd make something to dress up some soup. I would like my daughter to start cooking...I think this will be a great crockpot meal for the Broncos game this Sunday, don't you think???? I embossed the football with a Sizzix embossing folder. The back is decorated with the banners as well.
I hope you've all enjoyed the hop!

My cards for today are similar and I didn't realize it until I posted them. The second card was made for the MIX32 challenge over on SCS last Friday...it was to use a negative. I painted the paper with blue acrylic and then laid a tree stencil onto the paper brayered over it and pulled it up. The tree in my first card is an embossing folder and I colored directly on the folder so that the raised portion of my tree would be concord crush.
I hope you're all enjoying the hop!

My first card I was sneaking this set last week and just having some fun with dp. The card base and the punched gray are the only things NOT dp.

I feel like I need to give some credit to MariLynn for the kraft paper idea. I LOVE how this turned out. My sister Peggy lives on a big farm and these cards will go to her so that she can do what she wants with them!
Now I am off to finish baking my molasses chews...nice and rainy here in Colorado today.
Have fun on the hop and head to Pat's blog next.

This scene was stamped in watercolor paper and an aqua painter and reinkers were used to paint it. I used one layer of UTEE as I love the wet look.

I am behind in my crafting. I had so much fun getting inky and sticky fingers! I stamped in stazon on water color paper and used water color crayons to paint the image. Added some glitter to the center of the flower and then I did cracked glass on the image panel. On the sentiment, I did 2 layers of UTEE. An MFP stick pin and some beads on the end. Also some ribbon to finish it off. I used BG's Marrakech dp.

SCS TLC446 & Mojo Monday Sketch 310

I had so much fun with the TLC on SCS today. We were to use real leaves. I grabbed 3 different ones from my yard and an autumn spectrum pad and got some inky fingers. After trimming it to fit the mojo monday sketch, the biggest leaf is the most visible. I also stamped the big leaf onto my orange panel. I see I didn't get the details on the brad. Bummer. I may have to photograph it again! You can see the TLC here and the mojo monday challenge here. I used my giant spool of burlap underneath the orange panel. The sentiment is from Unity's Art & Possibility (love this set).

Have a great day!

MFP Speedy TV TTSTV-65 Altered Clipboard

I had a lot of fun with our tutorial time challenge this week. I got to beautify an old clipboard!  I started by choosing a dp and then chose scraps from it. I painted a layer of mod podge on and started laying my scraps down. Once that layer dried, I used the soon to be released set, Nature's Brushstrokes to stamp in early espresso and then added some liquid pearls. Lastly, I applied one more layer of mod podge and after that dried, I sanded the corners to smooth out the paper edges. Now I can call it a day!
I think I will keep this with my gardening supplies.

Head on over to MFPspeedyTV and play
