Growing in Unity~day 2

Today is my second day as GIU girl and I'm happy to say that I was able to type this write up with both hands! I have some healing to do, but it will be so much better in the long run!
My card today was made using the December 2017 SMAK Kit~let it go. I stamped it in black and then used some Zig watercolor brush markers to paint the flowers and stems. I inked up the burlap embossing folder with old olive and then added some green stickles...that is the glitter you see. The flower petals were then painted with champagne glitter glaze. Some pearls, ribbon and a tiny burlap bow helped to finish it off. I used vanilla  and black card stock and I can't recall where the scrap of designer paper came from.
I hope everyone has a simply fabulous Tuesday!

  5. Are you familiar with the Craftsman Style tiles made in the early part of the 20th century? Your card reminds me of the botanical designs they used in their designs, also the bright color against the muted background. Nice!

  7. I love the colors again and the fact that you made it a square card. That lets you put more elements on without crowding the image.

  8. So pretty. It reminds me of our trip in Europe---red poppies to remind us of those who risked/gave their lives in WWI.
