Crating by Designs~Get Ready for Christmas with A Day for Daisies

Our blog challenge this week is to get ready for Christmas and our sponsor is the the wonderful A Day for Daisies. I used this awesome image Magical Bloom Dancer. I used gorgeous designer paper from Wild Rose Studio called Birds & Berries. For the poinsettia bouquet, I cut them out of this designer paper and spritzed with gold shimmer spritz. I painted her tutu with some shimmer watercolors as well...kind of champagne looking! The center of the poinsettia has chunky gold glitter and I put a white dimensional center on the flowers. I did my signature distressed organza ribbon....by heating it. The sentiment is from Unity.
Head on over to the blog and play....so fun!

Happy Day!

Crafting by Designs Challenge~colors with Sparkle and Sprinkle

Greetings to everyone in bogland. Our challenge this week is colors over at Crafting by Designs. Our sponsor for this weeks' challenge is Sparkle and Sprinkle and I was lucky to be able to use this beautiful digi set Aster Garden. I chose one of the flowers....printed on vanilla card stock, fussy cut out and then watercolored. I used this piece of gorgeous dp from SU! and dry embossed it. I actually thought it stood beautifully without any extra added embellishments.

Have a great day and head over to the Crafting by Designs blog to link up your colorful beauty!

Stamplorations Free Spring-Themed~Cupcake Blooms & Coffee

Happy hump day! I am inside and staying dry. We are in the middle of our second bomb cyclone here in Colorado. The last one was a month ago today. With that said, it hasn't been anything like the first one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
My gf, MariLynn, shared this lovely and free digital download from Stamplorations....Cupcake Blooms and Coffee. I knew I had to play. I printed the image out on watercolor paper and then watercolored and cut it out. I added some gingham ribbon to finish it off and the sentiment is from a Marks' Finest Papers set.

Crafting by Designs Easter Challenge with Lunagirl

Happy Wednesday! Our challenge for this next week at Crafting by Designs is an Easter challenge and is being sponsored by Lunagirl and the prize is a $15 gift certificate!
I chose this beautiful collage sheet Victorian Easter. I decided to use two of the images. I resized them, printed on vanilla card stock and used a beautiful Darice ef on both of them. Next, I sanded away some of the raised portion of the embossing and added Inka Gold in gold to both images. The soft suede layer was embossed with the same folder. I punched out 3 Martha Stewart butterflies and embossed with same folder and applied Inka Gold to them as well. Pearls were used on her dress, one on the center of the flower and a flourish for the butterfly trail. Burlap and lace ribbon for interest and the panels are on dimensionals...much prettier IRL!

Crafting by Designs~Anything Goes with LeeAnn's World 101

Hello there!!!!! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this early April day.

Our sponsor for our anything goes challenge at Crafting by Designs is LeeAnn's World 101...go check out all the fun stuff here.

I used this darling bookworm. I printed it out on watercolor paper and got to watercoloring. I purposely made the bookshelf look worn. On the drawer knobs I put crystal effects. I used a Unity stamp for some wallpaper and stamped it in pear pizazz. The light blue layer was dry embossed and some pear pizazz rubbed over raised areas. Pear Pizazz ribbon and some photo corners for some interest.
This creation will go to a girlfriend whose daughter is finishing up her master's degree.
Play along with us to win the prize from LeeAnn's World 101!
