Christmas in July with Anthony’s Paper Craft

Greetings! Today is my last creation as guest designer for Anthony’s Paper Craft. It has been fun creating with their quality stamps!
Today I am showcasing the set hanging ornaments. This stamp set comes with two ornaments.
I stamped it in red and then put 3 layers of Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (UTEE) on and then into freezer for a couple minutes. I then bent it to form the cracks which I rubbed brown ink into. This is called cracked glass and is one of my favorite things to do. My sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments 1.
The red layer actually was a card with diecut oval that I cut down to fit the A2 card. My sentiment and the background layer is my own handmade wood background. I take the edge of a stamp pad and drag it down the paper. A few brads to finish it off.
I would like to thank APC for having me. It was fun creating with Anthony’s stamps!

Christmas in July with Anthony's Paper Craft

Only a few more days for me as guest designer for Anthony's Paper Craft. I have had so much fun creating with his stamps. My first creation, I used pinecones w/branch and Christmas set 1. The sketch was for the sketch challenge yesterday on Splitcoast Stampers. I stamped the pine branches around in emerald envy on tan paper. I stamped the image in versa fine black ink, watercolored and fussy cut it out. I used a word from a sentiment in Christmas sentiments 1 and punched out with an oval punch.

For my second card, I used Christmas set 1 again. I colored with Zig watercolor markers. My designer paper...is a scrap. My base is tan cardstock and I used red to layer the dp. My sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments 1.

If You Give a Crafter a Cookie July 25th, #122

Aren't those robot cookies adorable? I am a baker, but I don't do fancy stuff like this! Mine do taste good, though!
I purchased this sweet digital stamp from SheepSki Designs on Etsy. His name is Bob no 60
I ended up printing pop on a piece of Tim Holtz 12 x 12 designer paper. I cut it down to 8.5 x 11 and ran it through printer. He was colored similarly to the cookie photo. I got a chance to use my fun gears and a screw brad. For the sentiment, I made my own using Nanum pen script font, printed it and then used a SU! punch....I then made a mat for the sentiment with orange cardstock. I also matted entire image with the orange. The base layer is white.
I could find so, so many reasons to use this card.

Getting Ready for Christmas at Crafting by Designs

Happy Wednesday to everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. It's time to get some more Christmas creations done! This week our sponsor is Colour of Love. You can head over to their store here.
The prize is 3 images of your choice.

I had so much fun using this image from Colour of Love called Christmas Star. I watercolored the hat, jacket, gloves, ornaments and branches. The snow and the snowman were painted with Sheer Shimmer Spritz in frost....so dang difficult to photograph!
There, I took another photo close up to see the sparkle a bit better. The background paper is from Authentique called Sea-Maiden. I added some lovely pearls and my sentiment is from Anthony's Paper Craft from a set called Christmas Sentiments 1. After stamping it, I cut it up so if fit my design better.
I distressed the black layer on the image.

I hope that you can play! Kind of nice to get to Christmas and you don't have to stress about making cards as you've already done them throughout the year!

Christmas in July with Anthony's Paper Craft

Happy Monday!
I hope this day finds everyone keeping cool somehow!
I am guest designing for the month of July for Anthony's Paper Craft. Anthony has awesome stamps for reasonable prices. You all need to check them out!
For this creation, I used Santa 3 and Christmas Sentiments 1. I stamped my image on watercolor paper in black stazon and watercolored him....I went for a distressed look. I did the same for the sentiment which I then cut in two to fit the card. Both the image and sentiment are on dimensionals. The background paper is dp from SU!   old, old stuff! It was embossed with the dot folder from Sizzix. I don't understand why the names of the embossing folders aren't put on the folder. It perplexes me. It also perplexes me as to why I don't write the name of the folder on it. I actually have for some and will do so going forward! Some pretty lace and pearls were added, too.
Head on over to Anthony's store here. You won't be disappointed.

Christmas in July with Anthony's Paper Craft

It's mid July already. Where is the summer going? I am happy to create for Christmas today as it is going to be 100 degrees here in Colorado. I am going to stay in my craft room and create....it's in the basement and much cooler!

For this creation for Anthony's Paper Craft, I used the pine boughs w/branch and Christmas sentiments 1. I used cherry cobbler, garden green and gold in inka gold. To put this together, I used the color challenge on SCS( SC748) and the sketch challenge (SC758). I stamped the image using the markers directly on the stamp and utilized a misti to be able to stamp again. Sahara sand was sponged on main image and then using my finger, I put inka gold around the edges....the gold layer is shimmery, too. My base card stock is shimmery vanilla.  Gold brads and a green layer that is damasked embossed.
Ya'll need to head over to APC and score yourself some reasonably priced and beautiful stamps!

Crafting by Designs~Summer Fun

Happy day! This week our sponsor over at Crafting by Designs is Imagine That. Go check them out here....awesome images!
My first card, I chose to use the poolside penguin already colored up. However, my printer went wonky. My ink must be running low...so I colored part of it. I used a piece of stray dp and embossed it for some more interest. The image and sentiment are on dimensionals and I used a ribbon to finish it off.
My second card I colored with a combo of SU! markers and Zig brush markers. Again, the image and sentiment are popped up and I used a coordinating ribbon with this stray piece of designer paper.
This penguin just makes me smile!
Head on over to Crafting by Designs and upload your summer fun creations and you may win a prize from Imagine That!

Take care,

Christmas in July with Anthony’s Paper Craft

I have lots to share and I feel like this month is flying by! I used Christmas Set 1. I stamped it in brown and sponged in brown after coloring with pencils. Organza ribbon was used and I distressed it by turning the heat gun on for a moment. One of my fave things to do with ribbon!
Head on over to APC and shop here. Fabulous stamps!

Have a great day!

If you Give a Crafter a Cookie~July #121

Good morning! What fun cookies to make a beach-themed creation! I love these colors. I used a piece of Authentique designer paper called Sea-Maiden. My images were stamped directly on the dp and they are from Unity SMAK kits~this guy my guy and the ocean is calling. I did something I don't do often.....to different metals as embellishments. The antiqued gold button and a silver anchor (which I realize is a bit hard to see....kind of like I spy!). I love using burlap I think it fit well for this creation.
Head on over to If you Give a Crafter a Cookie Blog to play along and upload your creation.

Have a great day!

Crafting by Designs Challenge~Our Pets

Happy hump day, everyone!

Our challenge for this week at Crafting by Designs is all about our pets. Our sponsor is
What a fun shop! You can check it out here and the prize is 3 single images or 1 set!

I began by printing it out on white card stock and got busy coloring with my Zig watercolor brush markers. Using island indigo, I edged the image and sponged all the way around it. The igloo is painted with white shimmer paint. The dp is called Pixie-Vicious from Cosmo Cricket. Next, I used a leaf embossing folder to add more interest to the dp. I really wanted to make a ball of yarn, but couldn't get my fingers to work, so I went ahead and did a yarn embellishment with a bow and a button. I love this image so I actually used the name of it and printed it out and cut into banner edges.
Let us see your pets and load your images onto Crafting by Designs!
Happy Crafting!

Christmas in July with Anthony's Paper Craft

Happy Independence Day to everyone in the U.S.!

I am happy to announce that I am a guest designer for Anthony's Paper Crafts for the month of July. I am honored to share my creations. Our theme this month is Christmas in July. So fun. I have some awesome stamps to showcase.

My first creation was done with "Santa 3." I stamped him on watercolor paper and fussy cut him out after watercoloring him. I stamped him again on designer paper from Wild Rose Studio called Birds and Berries (the green layer is also from there). Next, I stamped him on the dp and fussy cut the dp out to use as the background in the picture frame. Both the sentiment and the image are on dimensionals. I added a lovely vintage brad. The main layer and the sentiment have a black layer and my card base is white.

My second creation is from the set "Christmas Set 1" and the sentiment is from "Christmas Sentiments 1." The image and sentiment were layered on red card stock and are on dimensionals. The green layer was embossed and then I rubbed my sahara sand ink pad over the image to give it a bit of a rustic look. Red embroidery thread was used for interest. The base layer is white card stock.

My last creation for today is my favorite. I wish I owned this gorgeous ornament! The set comes with 2 and is called "Hanging Ornaments." I stamped the image on Ms. Sparkle & Co designer paper. I tend to love all things vintage looking and I thought this particular paper would be awesome with this "Pine boughs w/ Branch." I stamped the ornament on dp as well, and stamped another on watercolor paper and cut it out, colored and added some shimmer paint to it. The ornament is on dimensionals. The base is kraft card stock.

Head on over to Anthony's Paper Craft and do some shopping. Follow them on Facebook, too! Such beautiful stamps!
I am ready to put on some Christmas Carols and continue getting my cards ready for December!

Cheers,

Pam
